This label was lime green and was used until 1971 where it was then replaced by the similar red target label. All the Capitol Beatles albums were reissued on this label, except for The Beatles Story and the three 6000 series albums. Note that this Yesterday and Today pressing is stereo but bears a MONO catalog number.

The entire cover of Sgt. Pepper is filled with personal references of personal interests, people they admire, and even personal belongings. In the lower left quadrant is a ceramic fukusuke figure that John Lennon bought in a shop while in Tokyo in 1966. It is a “god of fortune” meant to bring good luck and prosperity to the owner. This is a stereo recording. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Made in Holland. On insert: Printed in England. Additional information: Sticker on cover states that an extra £ is added for the coloured vinyl. Insert of heavyweight stock with Sgt. Pepper cut-outs. The remix, in fact, provides a long overdue epiphany. Martin observes in his liner notes: “The original Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was primarily mixed as a mono album. All care and A good thing for sure, as the sonics sound excellent on this release on all versions I have listened to! I like the Blu-ray version of the new Sgt. Pressing variation: This U.S. release 'is' pressed by GZ Media, as identified in the runouts. Made in the Canada sticker located on back. It could indeed be a very "early" 3rd or 4th pressing, for example, as denoted by the stamper matrix numbers, but it certainly won't be a first pressing. The best place to start is with what is generally considered to be the Holy Grail of Beatles vinyl: The first album Please Please Me with the Black & Gold Parlophone label in Stereo. In mint B2.
