Received 1 Like on 1 Post. Flashing Glow Plug light. 14 TDI, 22k miles on it. So today I was braking for a red light before the freeway on-ramp. I felt it downshift, jerk and the engine sounded like it's almost going to stall, then right away it went back to normal RPM, but the glow plug light is now blinking with no other messages at all.

To fix it, you will need two replacement glow plugs. My engine is a CAGA, and I bought two NGK Glow Plugs. Remove the black cover from the engine. You can just pull it up by hand. REmove the foam covering from the top; Locate the glow plugs that you have to remove.

3 Undo the screws and lift off the cover. 4 To remove the relay,pull it directly from the fusebox. 5 to remove the fusebox,remove the ECU (without disconnecting it), and slide the fusebox off. I should think this is the problem as you have no voltage to any of the glow plugs. Hope this helps.
